She never lets up about my being too short to be a model, and her nick-name for me is "Copy Cate" `cause she says I'm always ripping off her style. But now that Lola's mum—Britain's top super model, Emma Childs—is living in my house, I finally have a chance to stop posing in my mirror and start modeling for real. So what if I'm four-foot eleven (fine—four-foot ten and three quarters)? I'm destined for a growth spurt. And, in the meantime, I'll keep practicing for my sure-to-be-fierce fashion future.

One thing I've learned from watching zillions of runway shows is that strutting like a super model is easier with catwalk music to psyche you up. Some of the bands that inspire my fiercest fashion walk are Death Cab for Cutie, The Decemberists, and The Shins.
